2 Cups Ice

ice

3 Cups Boiling Water

Instructions:

  1. Sprinkle the baking soda into the disposal and then pour in the white vinegar. Let this sit and fiz for a few minutes while you boil the hot water.
  2. Pour boiling water down the drain.
  3. Fill the drain with the ice. Pour the salt over the ice cubes. Run the cold water and turn on the garbage disposal until the ice is gone. The ice/salt mixture will help loosen the grime and debris from the grinding elements.
  4. Cut your lemon in half. With the water on and garbage disposal running, add the lemon halves, one at a time, to the disposal. The lemon will help clean and make your disposal smell really nice!
