Hello party people! Nobody likes a smelly garbage disposal so here is a super easy guide to cleaning yours and making it smell nice and lemony! For this we will use items from the 99 of course!
What you need:
1 Cup White Vinegar
1 Cup Coarse Sea Salt
2 Cups Ice
3 Cups Boiling Water
- Sprinkle the baking soda into the disposal and then pour in the white vinegar. Let this sit and fiz for a few minutes while you boil the hot water.
- Pour boiling water down the drain.
- Fill the drain with the ice. Pour the salt over the ice cubes. Run the cold water and turn on the garbage disposal until the ice is gone. The ice/salt mixture will help loosen the grime and debris from the grinding elements.
- Cut your lemon in half. With the water on and garbage disposal running, add the lemon halves, one at a time, to the disposal. The lemon will help clean and make your disposal smell really nice!
